Hi y'all,
I just wanted to get a feel on how much mesalamine the average UC'er is on!
Right now, I am taking 3.6 grams of mesalamine per day (three 1.2g Lialda) and one 1g suppository at night.
Heading into remission *knock on wood*!

I take 2 Lialda and 1 Canasa. Sometimes I skip days on the Canasa when I don't have any symptoms but this week I've been using it nightly and occasionally in the AM as well. Things do seem to have improved soo I can't complain. I hope you continue to see success. I took 3.6mg for the LONGEST time. I have just finally, after many years, successfully reduced the dose gradually.

I take 2400mg of asacol daily and have a 2 gr salofalk enema every other night.
The thing I like about
the enemas, besides its efficient, is the fact I can ajust the dose and frequency to my taste. So I can manage better.

I am at 2400mg of asacol daily and currently tapering off a nightly 4g enema very slowly. I am taking the taper down to one every thrid night and then I will stay at that as maintenance. Right now I am taking the enema everyother night.

I take 1000mg twice per day.
Mine is called Mesasal and it's enteric coated but I think it's the same thing.
Thanks for reminding me, I almost forgot my evening dose!

4.8g Lialda and generic rowasa as needed. I think I may lower my Lialda to 3.6 as I'm doing really well at the moment.
