New trial drug Vedolizumab or also known as MLN-0002

So, this is the trial drug they want me to go on. I was wondering if anyone has heard of this or has tried this or if you know anyone who has tried this? It has been in trial since Oct. 2009. I can't find tons of info on it because it is new. I will try the humira before but just checking this out to. Any info and/or advice would be greatly appreciated.

I've seen it mentioned here a lot. Do a search on the box on the upper right for MLN-0002

hello wimomofthree - did you end up taking the vedolizumab? Did it get you into remission?

I am just now going through the paperwork and will be starting this trial in July. We think this may be the last shot before surgery may be indicated so I am hoping it helps. I obviously don't have anything to report yet but it did sound encouraging.
