It's been over 8 months since I last ran. And today, I ran. It wasn't long (10 minutes or so) and I did not need to poop during/immediately afterwards! (I've tried a few times before but with no avail.)
I don't remember the last time I've being this happy/ecstatic. Running has been a huge, huge part of my life. And ever since I've been sick with UC, all I've ever wanted was to be able to run again. Man, I really hope that this is the beginning of something wonderful.
Ironman Lake Placid 2014?!?
Please?

WooHoo! Good you're starting slowly....and if you start to get any symptoms, up the rectal meds.
Happy running!

Congrats on the return to running! I've ran a couple of 5k's in Lake Placid. What a beautiful area. Hope you get to do the Ironman!

At first I thought you meant you ran to the toilet lol
I'm glad you're feeling better. Keep it up.
