I shat my pants cause I'm too nice....

So, I'm waiting for my ride outside after work then all sudden it hits me. OH NOES!

My body says: You'd best be sitting on throne in about 2 minutes...OR ELSE!

So, I fast walk to the freight elevator (I have a pass for that), and plan on going to the second floor. I press the button for the elevator (common!!!), it's not coming...W.T.F.!!!!

By now, I start farting, thankfully, I can feel they are dry...Oh, no what do I do!!...ok. I take the stairs to go to the second floor. I ran up the stairs like Usain Bolt and reach the second floor.

I know now, that I'm going to make it. I'm going to use the handicapped stall. As I'm approaching the stall, I see this old lady with a walker slowly coming towards me, AND I KNOW SHE'S GOING FOR THE STALL. In my head, I'm like...geez, I'm going to let this old lady use the stall and I'll go use the men's washroom. By now, I got maybe 10-15 seconds left before I start leaking. I go in the mens, it smells like a cow died in there and all 5 STALLS are OCCUPIED!! you gotta be f..... kidding me!!!.

I bolt out of the men's washroom and try the handicapped stall that I previously left for the old lady. I try the knob....and it's locked. She goes: IT'S OCCUPIED with a naggy voice.

Then....well, you know how it ends....

Lesson to this. Think about yourself first.

OY VEY! SORRY! We've all been there :(....... unfortunatly! my last mad dash got me to a bathroon being closed for maintainence and it all went down from there , literally! lol !I will keep that in mind before I " be nice" in a future incident!

Well, I started leaking, I went in the men's again and a fat ass left one of the stalls. I went in and finished my business.

Went upstairs to my cubicle and changed in a fresh underwear.. Now I'm washing my soiled underwear and jeans (jeans don't look soiled, but whatever)

SOMETIMES I HAVE FELT LIKE YELLING WHEN ALL THE STALLS ARE FULL "HEY SERIOUSLY CAN SOMEONE STOP F'ING AROUND , CAUSE I REALLY AM GONNA SHAT MY PANTS!! "

I am so happy where I work there are 3 floors all with bathrooms. The 2nd floor is somewhat abandoned by one of the businesses and always has an open stall. My worst anxiety is traveling to work - I can't hold it for 2 minutes like you can so there's very little chance I have time to stop somewhere to go. I don't think I can hold it for a minute even.

oh boy, not a good ending, but good effort! The stairs would have killed me..lol.

Somedude - well, I know how that feels. I used to have that happen to me right before I clocked in for work. Some people will laugh about the incident but it's nice to know that you can talk about it here and have so many people understand where you're coming from. You have a good heart :)

Does this cost anything? I really need that card.

In Germany you have handicapped restrooms which are locked. IBDers can order a key which opens those restrooms europewide. It was a blessing having it!

Here in the UK we have what's known as a 'RADAR key' scheme (it's an acronym, I forget what it stands for). For a £5 registration fee, you're sent a key to unlock 1000s of public disabled loos, so I always know I'm going to have a loo available if I need to go NOW! Of course not every disabled loo is 'protected' (if I'm in a coffee shop/restaurant, for example, I just have to take my chances - though I've got to know the staff at my favourite coffee shop so well they allow me to use the staff loo!)

Obviously, you need to have a recognised disability (I got mine when I had IBS - I quit grainy crud, no more IBS - now WHAMMO! I think I've UC!).

There should be something similar over there... I know there isn't - but there darned well ought to be!!!

I feel for you. I've had so many close calls I can't even begin to count. Only have shat them twice. Once on my way home from work there is a 20 minute stretch where there is no where to pull over and by the time that stretch ends I am blocks from home. Well an attack hit me during that stretch so I am doing breathing excericses and trying to relax while holding it etc.... I get home pul into the garage, open my car door and it starts coming out while I am hurrying to the bathroom, by the time I get into the bathroom its flowing out. It was quite a mess but atleast I was in my own home and thankfully no one else was home. The other time was in a hotel room. I had been up for 24 hours striaght and I was exhausted and I think I was just sleeping too hard and it started coming out while sleeping, this has never happened before as usually the urgency wakes me and i get to the bathroom no problem. That was the first (and so far only) time it has happened in front of my wife. Sufficed to say I didn't know what to say, I asked her if she would just go int he other room before I even turned the lights on to clean up, she did, I think she was out of it and didn't fully understand what was going on til the next day but I've never quite felt the same in front of my wife since then. She loves me but it's tough you know... Anyway, thanks for sharing the story, I feel for you and it so, so sucks

Been there done that. My "funniest" story: Was on vacation driving on the highway and had to go really bad. Found a McDonalds in time. McDonalds is always a mistake as they are always busy and have one stall (in the men's anyway). I got in the bathroom with only seconds left and found to my utter horror that some guy was in the stall with several kids. I hate it when they put the baby changing station in the stall. Anyway, I knew that he was going to be in there for a while so with five seconds til blast off I quickly pulled down my pants and sat on the urinal. It made enough noise that I could tell the family in the stall stopped what they were doing and were thinking, "***?". I flushed the urinal and left.
