You're so excited to have a solid bm that you run out of the bathroom in joy....unfortunately, your family doesn't seem to share your enthusiasm and look at you like you lost your mind.

I'm doing almost everything you guys mentioned LOL

... when YOU tell the GI meds you need (instead the other way around)

... when you're eating out you have to return every meal at least twice before they get it right (esp when you're on SCD/paleo...) "I said NO bread..."

ALWAYS ALWAYS HAVE AISLE SEATS ON PLANES & THEATRES & RESTURANTS!

& TOTALLY AGREE THAT MY DAY IS PRETTY GOOD WITH A GOOD TURD IN THE AM! LOL!

OMG, I am laughing so hard at this thread!! I wish there was a 'like' button so I could like some or all of these posts!

This one is copying Red a bit, but you know you have UC when you come out of the bathroom with a grin on your face when you have a regular poop and you want to shout from the rooftops about it!

You know you have UC when:

You keep a bottle of anti-diarrhea medicine at work, home, car, and anywhere else you regularly spend time.
When you're driving home and hit a bump, triggering a deep deep religious prayer!

Ok I've got another one! You know you have UC when you've wished death upon someone because they took a long time washing their hands in a public restroom and you just want to poop in private!

You know you have UC when

1-Everyone comes to you for advice when they are constipated.
2-Everyone comes to you for advice when they have diarrhea.
3-Everyone comes to you for advice when they feel bloated.
4-And because you are at ease talking about embarassing body functions well everyone comes to you for any other non related embarassing things like vaginal discharges, eczema, smelly armpits and you can imagine the rest.

you know you have UC when you are having sex with your husband and you think that if you try to hit a certain position it might open your fart canal. And for a moment you have compassion for your partner.

When all the toilets in your house have those soft padded seat covers. Might as well make yourself comfy.

Oh my gosh I want those. Plus those toilets which wash you off after and all you need is a towel. Gotta save some money on those toilet rolls.

When you have to scrub not only the toilet but also wipe the seat, the lid, and all of the surrounding area of the toilet after you use the restroom at home so the rest of the family doesn't freak out.

If your out and about...

If you've ever completely missed the toilet altogether from a combo of not wanting to sit on the seat and having to hurry so fast you can't aim correctly for the bowl - fortunately it was a spray-wash type of public restroom. But still...
