Wow, talk about loud. Lately the creaks, squeaks and gurgles coming from my abdomen are so noisy. I think they are saying, " help me, do something, are you going to get surgery or not?" I still keep wavering on that and it is starting to drive me nuts. Even though I have all the noise, the past week I have felt somewhat better. That is to say only up once at night instead of three times, less blood but still tons of mucous and gas, and less urgency. I am currently on Apriso and Canasa and down to 2.5 Prednisone. Oh well.

The noises are the most embarrassing thing for me (I don't have the D and urgency most have). I am in meetings a lot and dread when my stomach starts singing. I was in a meeting once with our Chief Operating Officer and it got so bad he made a comment about the noises.

I take Hyoscyamine (Levsin-SL) for that.

the large intestine is asking you if you're going to have surgery. I don't think it would ask you that. lol

oh gosh that was a huge problem for me too. I remember sitting in psych class, we were sitting in a circle, and my stomach too was "singing" as cbjonice put it. Everyone was looking at me :( embarrassing to say the least... ugh. However, since I've been taking more probiotics, I've noticed a substantial difference with my gut. It no longer growls obnoxiously! Couldn't hurt to try it ;)

Mine was singing out while I was reading yesterday evening. Growled all evening- normal poop in the A.M.

If it is accompanied by pain, then I know I'm in trouble. Sounds like a whale? If interpreted, it says " You're in remission, now, but I'm still here.."

I have an upcoming 2-day seminar and am dreading the noise from my gut. Others think I must be starving, don't understand that it's not just a growling stomach from hunger. The first time I mentioned it to my doc, I said it sounds angry and he said yes, your rectum is angry! wink

I have days where mine is really really really noisy too. Sometimes I think its something I ate but other times I think it just wants me to know that it can get pissed off any darn time it wants to so I better watch it. LOL

Not if you're conversation partner is your stomach. I talk to mine all the time, "no NOo no on onON not now not now...."

I think the noise actually woke me up last night, before the actual urge. Ugh
