Needing advice.

I'm gonna write out a little about my story and background and maybe some of you guys can help me out.. I apologize if it's a little all over the place, lol. I am 18 now by the way.

When i was about 13 or 14 i went to my doctor complaining about Diarrhea all the time after anything i ate, going to the bathroom tons of times a day, having bloody stools, and in pain constantly. So i had a colonoscopy done, and they diagnosed me with UC, Esophagitis, Duodenitis, A Hiatal Hernia, Internal and External Hemorrhoids, and Early Signs of diverticulosis. I went to a doctor to see about my hemorrhoids, he tried banding them but it just hurt me way to bad and he said he could tell right when he saw my face after how much pain i was in. Then my doctor said i have Rectal prolapse, but its very very mild and hasn't came down much yet, thankfully. So i went on to have two hemorrhoid surgeries, one last year, and one in April of this year. Now my hemorrhoids are worse, and i've noticed a few hemorrhoids as of the past few weeks, that have been hurting me like crazy. So i'm praying that i will not have to have another surgery on them, because that is one hell of a surgery to have...

But a few years ago when i was about 15, i didn't want to go to school because i felt so sick all time, on top of UC, and all the other stuff, so i went to the my doctor, and he said nothing was wrong with me, i was just not wanting to go to school blah blah blah, and then i went to a different doctor and they did an ultrasound on my Gallbladder and found that my Gallbladder was only working at 13%, and also that i was having Gallbladder attacks, and that's part of the reason i felt so sick to my stomach all the time, because after i had it removed i felt so much better. Needless to say i'm homeschooled now because i went through a bunch of BS with having to go to Court and go through Foster care because i missed to much school, all because of how sick i was.

I had a colonoscopy a few days before my hemorrhoid surgery back in April, and the doctor said my UC wasn't there. Which meant it was either in Remission, or he just didn't go in far enough to see it, i don't know? I'm hoping to have another colonoscopy here in the next month or hopefully soon to see whats going on. Well as of lately, i've been having diarrhea all the time, and normal BM as well. But its still after everything i eat, no matter what it is. It seems as if i'm in pain all the time, that my stomach is hurting me all the time, and of course i'm having bloody stools because of my hemorrhoids that i have. I'm not sure if not having a gallbladder has anything to do with going to the bathroom right after i eat anything, or if it's my UC flaring up again? Anybody have any advice for me on what i can do? or have any suggestions of stuff i could take to help me?

Were you having symptoms when you went in for your last colonoscopy?

Are you on any meds for UC?

Before I had a diagnosis I was running to the toilet after every meal. I've modified my diet a lot since then and stay on my meds and things are a lot better most of the time.

I don't know about the gallbladder issue, I'm sure you could google it and find out.
I have a friend with her gallbladder out and I know she has to watch what she eats. I've seen her sprinting to the bathroom before.
My MIL just got hers out and she's feeling great, no running to the toilet. She has a gluten sensitivity so avoids wheat, but not 100% of the time I think.

Yes, i'm on Asacol. But ever since i had that last colonoscopy i've honestly not been taking them since my doctor said i could be in remission, now i realize i should've been taking them all along, i've started taking them in the last week. i wasn't sure if i needed to take them or not because that was the last time i saw my doctor because he moved to Miami, FL the day after that. I havent been back to my other doctor yet either, but i'm thinking of going to a new one that just came in town because my other one is just to busy for himself.
I've researched it but haven't really found much, i'll have to look into it more though. I'll probably just have to ask my doctor about that when i do go back. My dad had his gallbladder removed years ago, and he doesn't have to run to the bathroom after he eats anything, so i just don't know. I've tried modifying my diet in the past, but it seems like no matter how healthy i eat, or anything it just stays the same. :( I guess i'll just have to try to figure out what i can and can't tolerate.

And thank you, i looked up the first one you mentioned and it sounds just like what i have! I will definitely have to ask my doctor about both of those next time i go in.

Okay, sorry, just trying to clarify...
So during your last c-scope, when the doc told you he didn't see any UC, you were having bloody stool, stomach pain etc. at that time?

Yeah, we do need to stay on maintenance meds even while in remission.

When you initially started taking asacol, did it help with your symptoms? You just have so much going on in your body it will probably be hard to see improvement until everything is really taken care of.

I always get painful hemorrhoids during a flare that will go away once the flare is over, so if you can tackle the flare (keep taking your asacol and get to a doc to see what else you could try) you may not have to worry about another hemmie surgery.

Is your pain up in your stomach or down in your bowel area?

I didn't have success with diet changes when I was really sick, but once I got into remission (things weren't great but I wasn't having diarrhea all the time), then it was more obvious which foods were obviously not good for my gut. I kept a food/symptom journal so I could see patterns.
