butt crack help ! (serious)

Ive been having alot of trouble lately with my rear end , its really sore alot of the time and sometimes after a large meal theres blood when i use the toilet , theres no pain with the blood i just notice it on the loo roll , and that comes and goes without too much discomfort but the big problem to me is the soreness , iv read about people getting sore in specific areas around the anus but mine is everywere , it stretches from my anus all the way to the top of my butt crack , iv tried countless creams , talcum powder , scrubbing the area with scentless soaps , i even tried shaving the area thinking perhaps the hair growth was causing irritation and nothing worked , i do alot of exercise atleast 2 hours per day and i sweat an awfull lot so i dont know if this could be adding to the discomfort , theres no discharge or redness/inflammation , iv looked several times , any help would be great thankyou !

Have you tried using anything that is antibacterial? I wouldn't recommend using them daily, but whenever I have anything odd going on there, using antibacterial wipes for a few days usually takes care of it.
If the skin is raw they'll sting a bit.

i bathe in hibiscrub (the antibacterial used in hospitals) once every couple of days and have tried using bepanthen nappy care ointment but it hasnt helped atall , i spoke to a friend about it and they said it could be thrush but i havnt got a clue how to treat it if it is

Thrush would be red most likely....stop the antibacterial and strong soaps and switch to something more benign such as what I suggested above.

If it is thrush, go to the store and purchase Canesten external cream and apply it...
It'll be found in the ladies feminine needs section.

start with an over the counter hydrocortisone cream. it's a low dosage.

You've checked your anus as well? anything look enlarged or like a crack in the folds?

Yeah, it's not the foods, but if you have something like a fissure or inflammation rectally that causes fragility and bleeds easily (friability), more bms or harder bms could cause either to be more noticable.

So, do you have UC? and where exactly is the extent...throughout or limited to where?

If you do have UC...what meds are you on...and if you're not on rectal meds, I strongly suggest them.

I second what Quincy said about a hydrocortisone cream as well as trying something anti fungal.
And the harsh soaps can be very irritating.

Odd that there is no visible rash or redness.

My son dealt with thrush for a long time but his was always red and very itchy, may have been painful but he was too young to speak.
We did a number of antifungals, diaper creams, cortisone creams and mixtures of them together.
What finally worked for him was coconut oil, which is antifungal and soothing. I use it on my external hemmies with better success than hemmie creams.

I can't imagine a fissure that's not painful. I have one that's always hurting. I would imagine it's an internal hemmie if you can't see anything and you're not in pain but you're dealing with blood. I agree that you can probably try cortisone suppositories.

When you say soreness, do you mean like a bruise type of soreness, or as if the skin was red, irritated, and raw type of soreness sensation? If it is the latter and there is no visible signs on the skin, I recommend you speak with a Doctor about using something like a low dose of Klonopin or an anti-anxiety drug like Celaxa or Effexor. about 15 years ago I suffered from a similar "skin problem" in my groin and crotch area. It used to drive me crazy. I tried everything and then some. Doctors tried everything and then some, from antihistamines to diaper rash ointment. Nothing worked until a new Doctor prescribed me a low dose of Klonopin. The condition vanished within 2 days. A few years of suffering ended within 48 hours after taking the Klonopin. Eventually he put me on Celexa and many years later I am on Effexor ER. Don't know if I have needed these meds all these years for my "skin condition", but I stay on them because I tend to have a lot of anxiety and they help me.

its a soreness like when i wipe/clean it feels like the skin is raw , almost asif its burnt ... i know i used to suffer abdominal migraine when i was younger , what ive done so far is after i go to the toilet iv been washing with water then drying the area and applying nappy rash cream and its already feeling much better , i have a feeling that maybe it might be a sweat issue because i sweat alot in the gym then walk home which takes 30 minutes before i have a shower so maybe thats part of the problem

Quincy well how about a compromise? I usually do the one tap-wipe to just take the extra ahah and then go to the shower.

But yes I swear by spectro for my face and unfortunatly they dont sell it here. My dad brought me some in january and its all gone!
