6mp and seizures

I have been on 6mp for 3 months now and I am also a type 1 diabetic. Last week my blood sugar dropped to 29 while I was sleeping. I usually wake up when my blood sugar drops too low but I didn't this time. I started having a seizure. My sister was in town visiting and she came into my bedroom and found me seizing and called 911. Paramedics arrived and started an IV and gave me dextrose and I came out of it. I had an appointment with my PCP today who told me that 6mp has been shown to cause hypoglycemic seizures in children. The nurse at my GI's office called me today and told me that my prometheus test results were high (at toxic levels) so she wants me to decrease my 6mp from 75mg to 50mg. I'm just wondering if anyone else has had seizures with 6mp?

I have not but i have had to reduce the dose due to toxicity. I am sorry you had a seizure. That must have been scary.
