Where can I get a fecal transplant in Toronto area??

Actually willing to go to Buffalo too....maybe even the other side of the world if it means remission.

Trying to arm myself again in effort to increase quality of life, continue to work a very part time job and yes even perhaps go on a date!! (Wouldn't that be nice and normal??)

Doctor considering humaria, I'm considering homeopathy, fecal transplants, just ordered mutaflor.


Been on everything...including remicade and IVIG (worked great for 3 years with a few minor blips)

Diagnosed UC/Chrons now full UC entire colon & struggling.

Ooprs..I meant UC not US!!! The clinical trial is for ulcerative colitis!

In a recent post Rama wrote about Dr. Lawrence Brandt, a gastro & faculty member of Albert Einstein Medical College of Yeshiva University in NY, who does FT at Montefiore Hospital/Bronx. According to that post, Dr. Brandt finds that FT works best for UCers who are within 3 yrs of diagnosis. (Just FYI-- sounds like this gastro really knows his stuff.) / Old Hat (32 yrs with left-sided UC; presently in remission taking brandname Colazal)

Doorie, that's only if you're the clinical trial administrator. In that case, you need to get approval. As a member, it's acceptable to provide an informational link to another user. :)
