This is good news for those of us with no arrows left. A 16 to 18 percent chance of remission is better than nothing.

i think 16% sucks to be honest... especially if 9% go into remission with just the placebo. we need better drugs than this.

FDA approves humira, and for that matter, approves carageenan in foods, milk, toothpaste etc, but bans mutaflor probiotic and worm therapy- gotta love em.

If I read the studies right, Remicade rate is much better. My doc told me she finds remicade works better for UC, and her colleagues around the country say the same thing.
I had oriinally hoped to use Humira because of the convenience, but my insurance wouldn't cover it when it wasn't approved. Now I think I will just stay with Remicade, until there is more experience tracked.
