Starting Remicade Monday...scared

It could also be the Benadryl, perhaps made worse by steroids.  It always makes me jittery and anxious, sometimes with a racing heart to go along with it.

has anyone drank beer while on remicade? is it ok to do ?

i al so feel slightly itchy everywhere...cant tell if its real or in my head...on top of anxiety i am also a hypochondriac...

     I think you are more anxious than anything else.  I felt terrific after my first infusion, but then I was also still on prednisone rolleyes .

That's normal.

Did you stay 2 hours after the infusion at the doctor's office? They keep you there in case of late reactions.

Drinking in general is not recommended for Uc because it can aggravate things but every once in a while it should be okay. I can't drink beer myself because I can't handle malt but I do okay with vodka mixes once in a while.

Turn- I know you asked about beer, IMO that should be furthest from you mind right now. Just try to let the remicade work and when you're in remission think about those things. Just get well now.
