Hi Andrina,
I'm still feeling a little lost as far as diet goes. I've been trying to eat things that generally seem "safe" for me - e.g. oatmeal, hard boiled eggs, chicken soup, rice, squash, applesauce, yogurt, no wheat, no alcohol, no onions - but it's a little hard to find a rhyme or reason to how I feel. Meds are changing all the time too, so it's hard to determine what variable(s) are causing what symptoms. I did just start using the GI Monitor App, though, which helps me to track what I'm eating and my symptoms a little better.
I've heard quite a few people say that SCD has really helped them. I'm having a hard time sticking to anything right now because my appetite on prednisone is like OUT OF CONTROL this time, and I just want to eat carbs all the time. It makes me feel bad about myself, because I'd much rather be on a strict diet than all these meds.
Sorry to hear you're feeling similarly. I wonder why the hydrocortisone does that? Any tips on sticking to SCD? Why did you decide to go off it?
