Seatle Kevin-How do you know what digestive enzymes to use? Where do you find them?

garylouisville-No kidding. I seem to get some of the worst gas and indigestion after drinking. I drink very little as a result. Luckily I get a lot of water through my tube feeds which keeps me from getting dehydrated because I am doing good to take in 12 oz a day. I had gas before UC, but this gas is different. Its more powerful and definitely has a distinctive odor

yes, you are correct - he has a severe brain injury from lack of oxygen at birth - he had an ng tube for about 6 months, then had a g-tube for a little over 5 years and now has the gj - we have just had a hard time getting enough food in him - hopefully after his 14 days in the hospital, we have a plan that will work - so far, so good -

i'm pretty sure it will always be an uphill battle, but at least have have a battle - we're very blessed to have him -

between my uc and his tube feeds, maybe we can be of some help to you - sorry you are having to deal with this -
