How many Remicade infusions before it starts working

appreciate any insight...

everyone is different, I was on about 20mg of pred for the first two months tapering down and was on imuran for the first 6 months. I saw a difference in a couple days after my first infusion, but then a few days later, symptoms were getting worse again. Also, when I stopped pred, my symptoms came back a bit too.

It was that way for the first 6 months, I would get better a couple days after the infusion and then it seemed to last a bit longer each time, it was 5 steps forward 3 steps back. I was an emotional wreck!!

I hope I have a hemi now and beyond that I have been doing good since Nov 2011, knock on wood!

I feel a change right after an infusion. Im better for a day(take on the world feeling) but then I go back a bit, then it slowly starts getting better again (though Im not in remission I am really really close). Mind you I have only had two infusions. Only thing that scares me is my GI who expects me to be in remission after these 2 infusions.
