Stem Cell research trials

Apparently there are some new treatments they are doing/trying whereby using donated umbilical cords and using stem cells to regenerate the intestines and stomach.  They are using it for Crohns disease now as well as some other autoimmune diseases....  There are application forms online to apply to be part of the trials. The "theory" is they are connecting Crohns, Autism and Colitis to the same thing-lack of oxygen (which many think is from too much yeast??) to the stomach which is causing many other issues.  Anyoen looked into this or know more about it?

In my case, I did a very expensive stool test which spanned over 3 days of sampling. I do not have excessive yeast at all. They found something else though.

Recent work I have read about was sing adult bone marrow cells or adult adipose tissue cells. These were on top of you immune system I thought the umbilical cell stuff was in place of you immune system - which is way more dangerous.

I would find out if the trial is for a therapy that goes on top of your immune system, or if you need to have you own immune system destroyed first.

Also, even though they are using umbilical see if the logic/theory follows more closely with the blood-cell or the skin-cell lines of research.
