dealing with UC and psoriasis

I didnt have psoriasis when the UC was diagnosed 10 years ago. Anyone have both of these auto immune disorders?

can i take some immodium? i am at work and keep running to the bathroom which is a long way away from me...alll that turkey dinner!!

Imodium can help with diarrhea. I can't take it even though I got to the bathroom several times a day because my stools are usually formed and I don't have diarrhea. It is extremely dangerous to take it if you don't actually have diarrhea. It could even be life threatening.

i dont think its diarrhea, its just urgency with some much darn brite red blood

Imodium can help with urgency if it is caused by diarrhea. If you don't actually have diarrhea Imodium is actually very dangerous to take. It can block you up inside and cause a condition known as toxic megacolon, which is life threatening.

I've never been on pred so I can't answer that however the Remicade I take is messing with my psoriasis. It activated it again :(

But if you are not having D, then do not take Immodium. Are you on rectal meds? Rectal meds can help with urgency and the bleeding.
