CT-Scan Results

A few weeks back I had a CT-scan to check my small intestines to see if perhaps I may be dealing with chrons. Thankfully the results showed no active signs of chrons. My GI also said that it also showed no signs of active colitis, which seemed strange to me. I'm not having many UC symptoms anymore, but I still get the occasional blood in my BM, not regularly, but still a few times a week. Outside of that, I'm feeling fine, but I am still confused about the blood. If I am still seeing blood doesn't that mean I am still slightly flaring?

It wasn't all good news though, the ct-scan showed a cyst in my kidney, and a slightly enlarged prostate, so I'm off to see my family doctor about those issues Friday, pretty sure their minor concerns, but still a pain in the ass.

If its not one thing, it's another eh? I'm glad to hear your scan came out relatively good. But if you're not having symptoms and just bleeding, I agree that it could be hemmies. I get occasional blood too but their from my hemmies. Is it bright red blood?

The colonoscopy would. And sometime docs won't tell you if they're small, either because they're not concerned or they forget. My GI told me as an after thought. I have both internal and external ones. So you don't have any rectal inflammation?
