Remicade side effects?

I just had my third infusion yesterday and since all the meds I've tried aren't working, my doctor increased my dose by 50%. Almost immediately after I got home I felt like I just couldn't get warm. I fell asleep pretty early and slept ok. This morning I felt nauseated and went back to bed. I'm *exhausted*. I slept until about 11:30 and I'm so tired I don't even want to get up to pee and I'm freezing again! I'm not running a fever. I just can't seem to get warm. I have a heating pad at my feet and that's helping. My darn dog ate my electric blanket yesterday (nice timing bud) and so I can't curl up in that. Does this all sound pretty normal for remicade though? I didn't have any side effects before, so I'm hopeful that side effects may mean it'll actually start doing something this time.

No, that doesn't sound normal. I do have mild tiredness after and usually take it easy the next day, but never nausea or feelings of coldness. Definitely do call your doctor to discuss this, especially since it's lasting this long.

I'm feeling a little better since I got up and puttered around a bit. Thank goodness for the dogs needing to poop. I don't think I would have left my bed otherwise. I think I will forgive them for the electric blanket fiasco. LOL I've been chronically tired for quite some time so it could just be my baseline only a little lower. I did a lot of running around yesterday...had two appointments, had to fill scripts, and do some shopping. So I may just be worn out. I'm going to give it an hour. The coldness thing is weird. It's just in my hands and feet now, but better than it was.
