Good Dr. in Los Angeles area?

I moved to L.A. a bit over a year ago, and at the time I was in a relatively stable state (not-quite-remission, but if I had remained that way for the rest of my life, I would have been a happy gal). Unfortunately, over the last couple months, things have taken a downward plunge, and I should really probably go see a doctor at this point.

I had a great GI in Albuquerque (Dr. Gogol at Southwest Gastro) but I have no idea how to find a good one in L.A. Does anyone here have a recommendation or suggestion on how to look?

Unfortunately, I don't really know (or trust) my primary care physician that much. I mostly picked them because they were local. So ... I suppose I could ask, but I would trust folks on this forum more.

The folks at Digestive Care Consultants in Torrance are top notch, might be a bit of a drive though depending on what part of LA you are in.

Along with the UCLA recommendation, I would add Cedar's Sinai IBD Center. The gastros their specialize in Crohn's and UC.
