Just a few moments ago I was reading a post by Benji..something (some number after his name?), and I even responded.

The post was called "Whats working for me", and was about chicken soup, psyllium, eggs, and a few other things.

Now, its as if he dropped off the face of the world. He doesnt appear anywhere. If you google that post name, "Whats working for me", it comes up, but only the replies, nothing from him. I even went through the archives and he is non-existant alphabetically there too. What is going on??!!?

What first tripped me out was I was reading his post was on my phone, but when I brought the page up on my computer, it wasnt there.... here is the odd proof. A post with replies and no author, or author responses:

I still see him. must of been a glitch on your end... or maybe he accidently blocked you or something???

i even see him in your link.... maybe we was updating his profile or something.. i though he had more numbers after his name...

Ok, thats really odd... He doesnt exist here. Is that what happens when someone "blocks" you? Why would he have done that anyway? And why would he not show up in the archives?

Well that is bizarre. I refreshed my browser, logged out even, and still he doesnt exist now on either my phone or computer. Somehow my ISP just deletes his stuff. If any mod can tell me what is going on Id like to know, was an interesting post.

Maybe you put him on "ignore" by accident? Check your Profile page to see if you have anyone on "ignore". His post you're talking about is right below this one at the moment.

thanks for the suggestion Lanie, but I dont see that function on my profile page...? Also doesnt make sense because when I refreshed my browser, I was logged off, You would think it would show up when Im logged off, no? Yeah, freaking weird, still not showing anywhere!?!

Ah! found it and yes, I had him on ignore.. though dont know how I did that. What a weird function, didnt even know it existed.... Thanks!

be logged in, click on "my profile", then click on 'edit ignored users' (on far right)

That was the only explanation.  "Ignore" makes a poster invisible to us.  Glad you found him!  tongue
