I was supposed to go to the Dr. tomorrow for the results of sigmoid biopsies, but since I was in urgent care on Saturday and the Dr. there had given me Maalox (which made me go the bathroom 15 times Saturday) Dr. wanted to see me today (he was in surgery all day yesterday). Results read “a-typical, non-specific colitis”….when I asked the Dr. what that meant, what he said is that “the sigmoid we did on Feb. 18 showed without a doubt Ulcerative Colitis, this one was spotty, that it could be the pred, and other meds working, or he mentioned crohn’s/colitis – and that he felt we needed to do more testing”…UGH -Also, what he said is strange and I can’t believe it (after going to the bathroom that much) he did an x-ray and said “I’m full of stool” I’ve already had colonoscopy, endoscopy, 2 MRI, Ultra sound, x-ray, 2 stool samples (sending my 3rd tomorrow) and 33 vials of blood – what’s left? J while I know this has just begun for me, does anyone have/heard of anything like this?
