I participated in phase 1. Colonoscopy showed healed parts of the colon (had pancolitis before) so it might work in bigger doses.
Thought I'd let you know.

I'll check this out for sure. I'm already enrolled in the feces trial...after that's done I'll check to see if I can get into this bad boy.

My GI brought this study up at my last visit. I see him tomorrow. I will follow up and see if he thinks is worth a shot.

there is a site in Kansas, but ...

I am not sure I would qualify. While I started with moderate pan-colitis, I now have only mild left sided, and it says you need to be at least "moderate"

Also, I did not get in remission form oral Pred, but did get improvement, and I am not sure that means I "failed"on it. I did not fail on any of the other drugs mentioned for elegibility.

Still, maybe if I tapered off Pred completely, I would nudge back up to "moderate"

Does that mean DBwithUC that this treatment will only be for
Moderate disease if a success?

If I wasn't going on remicade I would totally qualify for this... but my guess is the odds of getting picked would not be in my favor

I think that is to balance need against some still unknown risk/safety issues. If it proves very save, I would think the treatment might be available at all levels.

Now insurance may require cheaper treatments 1st ...

I am going to talk with my GI at next appt. I have had some bleeding for 3 years now, and something has got to change. The Topeka site is just 35 mins down the highway.

Just curious if anyone else has had any noticeable results from the Multistem therapy.Is the enrollment too late to get into?

Hi Andrev my name is manuel y have UC for 4 years know im 28 live in caribbean so there is no clinical trial here would have to go to some of the places offering the trial!!. I don't have much options and feel like this is my last hope. Have you seen any improvement or heard of others really can't afford doing this without some advice please help. Thank you Andrev
