On an earlier post, I asked for good recommendations for GIs in Chicago. I got some recommendations and looked at all past posts on the subject so I've got a huge list.
Now I need to narrow it down a little. (I've listed all your recommendations over the past years)
My insurance will pay for 80 percent of the colonoscopy if it's NOT done in a hospitality, meaning an ambulatory center. Otherwise they will pay only $1500 tops on a colonoscopy done in a hospital.
Any recommendations based on that?
There might be a doctor who works in a hospital but also out of an ambulatory center.
Here are the docs I plan to choose from unless anyone wants to add another who has an ambulatory center.
Dr. Swanson (Rush University)
Dr. David Rubin
Dr. William Markey
Dr. Michael Goldberg (Evanston Northwestern Hospital)
Russell Cohen (U of Chicago)
Dr. Robert Carroll (U of I hospital in Chicago)
Dr Ece Mutlu (Rush University)
Dr. Russell Cohen (University of Chicago)
Dr. Michael Goldberg (North Shore University health system)
Dr. Pekow (University of Chicago)
Dr. David Rubin
Dr. Stephen Hanauer (University of Chicago)
Dr Robert Craig (Northwestern
Dr. Ali Keshavarzian (Rush hospital)
