colonoscopy prep not working got any tricks??

I have always had a lot of problems drinking the junk for colonoscopy so my fromer GI doctor gave me pills to swallow instead (I know they are very dangerous) anyway this gi told me to drink miralax and gatoradde and take 4 ducolax ...well guess what?? nothing absolutely nothing has happene all day and my colonoscopy is tomorrow. I have always had a motility problem so I start the prep 3 days before (which I did this time) I really need this colonoscopy to see where my disease is at now but I am worried they will not complete it because I am not cleaned out. Anybody have any suggestions??So frustrated!!

I hope so I have a feeling it will all hit at once and Im going to be suffering wish there was a better way this is so barbaric!

I had this same prep a coulple months ago. I ended up calling the doctors office in the afternoon because I thought it was not working. They told me the first dose does not always have a big effect and that it should kick in at the second dose. Mine did, but I will tell you it wasn't as bad as I was expecting. Do make sure you drink a lot of extra fluids. I was pretty dehydrated by morining.

Drink a pint of water straight off, my doctor told me to do that and within an hour my bowel was nearly empty
