You never know AG, stranger things have been proven. I would go with the evidence, but of course humans (we hope) are much cleaner when it comes to interaction than rodents.

However, we are reasonably close in DNA makeup, which makes it plausible, and why mice are chosen to perform these first tests.

I do not wish to give it to my daughter who lives with me full time.

I think if it were possible via skin-to-skin route then she would have had it by now.

Yes, that's interesting. But I think the offspring (of mice) already are low in T-bet, which is the protective barrier, correct me if I'm wrong I didn't read the article. So, it appears only those low in T-bet at least from the prior paper, are the ones who are susceptible. But now another paper tends to point to the microbata-entero symbiotic relationship. Wish I knew was going to get this and would have become a research Doc instead of a bum.
