Hello, I read somewhere that having nausea and feeling like you are going to vomit during a stomach ache (while on the bowl) is a symptom of crohns...I sometimes get this and I was diagnosed with UC 15 years ago. I have colonoscopies with biopsies every 3 years. My question is, does anyone else with UC have this symptom from time to time? Worried about misdiagnosis...thanks all. Be well :)

There are others on here with UC that get nausea and even do vomit when they are flaring and on the toilet. I sometimes if I have gone quite a bit in a day with feel kinda woozy but have never gotten sick.

I was diagnosed with pan-ulcerative colitis in May 2012. I consider myself in remission now, but I definitely remember feeling very nauseous and sick when on the toilet. I never actually threw up, but felt just on the verge every time.

Interestingly though, I also have other symptoms associated with Crohns - fistulas and mouth ulcers. But my doctors insist my blood tests and colonoscopy indicate UC.

Last time I flared up I was having a lot of nausea when I was on the toilet. I think it's common.

I had this plenty during the worst parts of my flare.
