1 more week of pred

I have 1 more week of prednisone and then it is finished. I am now on 5mg-- I am still ok with no symptoms... I hope it stays

Hopefully the taper goes as planned and you remain symptom free for a long time!

I just dropped fom 15mg to 10mg yesterday and still feel well. I always struggle with controlling my symptoms a few weeks after finishing a taper. Hoping for a different outcome this time.

That is what the doctor told me.. He said I may have loose stools when I drop to 10mg and 5 mg, so far I have not.

I'm also on a taper at the moment - started at 40mg, now down to 15mg and absolutely no symptoms yet - always a nerve wracking time when you get to the end of a course of pred but I'm feeling really good so fingers crossed!

Hope your symptoms stay away - the fact you've made it to 5mg is a great sign!
