There are many benign and not benign causes. Dehydration is a huge factor which I bet many of us suffer from and it does cause bubbles.. not from the protein but the urea. Urea breaking down releases ammonia. Ive tested many a woman's urine in my journey to become a midwife and we have to eval protein in that test. Ive seen many a bubble in urine from a mom who wasnt drinking enough water. and there will not be even a trace of protein. There wont be any leukocytes either..

seeing bubbles and thinking they had kidney issues. It should be explored if it is a constant occurrence but there are many causes..
