Good doctor in San Francisco

Does anyone have any advice for a good GI doc in San Francisco if not then maybe Mountain View area?

I was referred to Dr. Uma Mahadevan at UCSF IBD clinic from another city. I only have seen her a couple of times, but was happy with her services both times.

I see Richard Sundberg. He's very low key and does not have a big ego investment in doing things a particular way. This means that any time I have asked for a specific course of treatment that I've heard about on here, he has been amenable to it.

Another member here, *Jen*, who hasn't posted in a while, was pleased with improvement in her UC after switching to Dr. Uma Mahadevan at UCSF from another dr. You can probably find her comments in the forum archive. She's a working mother with 2 young children. / Old Hat (32 yrs with left-sided UC; presently in remission taking brandname Colazal)
