I just got colonoscopy and they said colon looked good but removed 3-4 polyps, my GI said not to worry, can anybody give me more info on polyps I'm not really familiar with them except theyre associated with cancer

it.
Same thing happened to me when I had my colonoscopy. (after which I was diagnosed with UC) I think they removed about
3 from my colon. I *think* my GI said that inflammation can cause them to form. Not sure if you had any inflammation but I'm sure they form for other reasons as well.
Anyway they did a biopsy and they came back non-cancerous, so they definitely don't mean cancer all of the time.

Be concerned, but not all polyps are related or turn into cancer.
All you can do is wait until you get the pathology repost....make sure you get a copy for your records because you might want to research the "wording".
