Back from vacation

Me and my hubby took a motorcycle trip with 10 other people. We had 7 bikes in our pack. We went from Michigan to Tennessee/NC to ride The Dragon and the Cherahola Skyway.....all I can say is WOW! We had such a good time! It was so beautiful!

We rented an 8,000 sq FT mansion for 3 days in the Smokies. I felt like a queen! Lol

But I'm glad to say that my UC didn't give me a lick of trouble! Even when we went on the skyway which is almost 6,000 above sea level. Normally I have issue with high elevation. But we didn't stay long in there. The only downside to coming down the mountain is that I got stung by a bee on my ring finger. Omg did that ever hurt! My poor finger swelled up like a balloon.

I just feel extremely blessed to finally have found a medication (Remicade) to allow me to do these things. I've been on vacation before while flaring and remember how miserable I was.

But *sigh* it's back to reality :(

Glad you had a great time. As feeling normal and being able to do the things you love is priceless -- thanks remicade. Perhaps its appreciated even more as you and we've all been in situations where we were flaring badly and dare not venture more than an arm's length from the toilet and at that time something like your vacation seemed all but impossible.

Thx for the response before, I was scared of Remi but it feels like maybe it's not so bad after all.

So happy you had no issues. I have traveled when I was constantly "surveying" my surroundings for restrooms and a quick exit. Very happy you were able to enjoy yourself!
