- Gluten and dairy free diet. I try to pay attention to how I react to particular foods and include probiotic foods regularly.
- Asacol HD, 2 pills 3 times a day. I'd prefer not to take any meds but it helps and it's better than the other options.
- 2 tbls psyllium seed powder twice a day. It's very important it's seed and not husk as we're looking for soluble fiber.
- Large glass of chicken soup every morning. I make the soup as strong as possible by adding turkey necks and a bit of apple cider vinegar and cooking it a while.
- Betaine HCL and digestive enzymes with large meals.
That's it! At times I've been strict GAPS/SCD/PALEO while taking tons of different pills. Compared to that this routine's a piece of cake. Each piece plays an important role in overall healing.
