Bleeding & mucus before BM. No pain, No diarrhea

I have the same situation as posted by Spluxa at 3/9/2009.

"Hi! I was just wandering if someone had the same situation. My UC doesn't really bother me a lot. I have 1-2 times BM pretty formed everyday. No pain or anything...However, every time I go to the bathroom I have blood and mucus for a year now".

I have started taking the below course, but there is no improvement, even my condition is worse.

3000 mg Pentasa tablets.
1000 mg antibiotic
300 mg Zantac
500 mg A to Z multivitamin

I am afraid to taking Asacol suppositories. 3000 Pentasa and 500 mg suppositories seems to much. Any ideas?
Where are you Spluxa? how is your condition?

Sounds like what I had when I had my first symptoms many years ago which was proctitis.

Have you used a mesalazine enema? That clears rectal bleeding for me (and lots on here), never got on with the suppositories myself. (Salofalk, think Rowasa is what most use in North America). Pentasa is delivered higher in the colon in theory than other mesalazines so if your inflammation is now limited to the rectum, it means you are not getting to treat that final section. I wouldn't worry about the extra dosage, I was on 4.8 g Lialda for a while plus 2g Salofalk enema, I did feel fuzzy headed but it cleared the flare.

What antibiotic are you on and for how long?

I am not a DR but it does sound like they have you on a great deal of meds.

Nice to hear that. Are you currently taking just the WOO to control the UC? How about your diet?
Could you explain how are you taking the WOO please? You did mention that you take 5 drops a day? How do you measure a drop? Is WOO comes with a package with an applicator?

I'm really struggling to find something to control my UC. I have mucus discharge and urgency.
As I'm moving home, the UC might might become aggressive and wanted to find something as a precaution.

Yes, I am not on any UC meds and have not been since starting WOO. I have been on a very healthy diet for the last several years (before UC Flare). I *never* eat junk food, fast food or processed food and exercise 5-6 times a week. I have been Gluten Free since last Dec.-it helps but it alone did not get me to remission, obviously.

The WOO comes with a dropper so it is easy to measure. I would put 5 drops in a shot of water (3-4 ozs) and take it with dinner. As mentioned also, take Rueteri with it, as well as the WOO is really strong and has a bite.

I will not claim everyone will have the great results with WOO. We know we are all different. I will say, without hesitation, that WOO WILL help many people on this board and is relatively cheap compared to literally anything else we take to help UC.

Thanks for the response.
According last colonscopy November, 2012 my inflammation is limited to the rectum (12 CM). Before this course , I used mesalazine suppositories for a while, but it was not very effective, I think the quantity was not enough. it was 500 mg per night, which is not too much.

I am taking Antibiotic: Metronidazole 500 mg. 1500 mg for 10 days, then 500 mg for 20 days.

How are you now? How is life?

Really, I dont know. It is prescribed by DR. I dont see them good.
