When I got UC I was 235 of fat and muscle. After UC I was 185 of all muscle. After an ongoing 5 month flare I am 170 and not very muscular. Predisone has destroyed my body. All hair, pimples, and very little muscle. 405lbs deadlift is now 285lbs.

130 to 116 maybe not as dramatic as you. My lowest weight because of UC was 43 kg

I've lost about 8 lbs in about a month in a half, mainly due to leaving off sugary foods.

I have a fast metabolism so I've been thin all my life. But after the birth of my daughter I was in a horrific flare. Post pregnancy weight I was 135lbs and I was down to 107lbs during the flare.

I've been on pred for 5 months and am tapering from 40 and down to 15(2.5 a week) plus weekly humira shots and still in a flare. Next week is simpoli

I got down to 106, now I'm 140. Big difference!

I've never lost weight from UC....just gained it from the pred used to treat two flares.

I'm up right now from pred use (and thinking the lexapro I took for a couple of years). 2 summers ago (in my worse flare and trying gluten free) I got down to 97. I'm 5'4" female. I'm about 127ish now.

I'm a 5'10" male, lost 50 lbs, 175 down to 125 in a matter of about 5 weeks. This was my initial diagnosis of having severe UC. Slowly trying to put the weight back on. Up about 3 lbs in 6 days since being released from the hospital.

I started out at 198 LBS. Today I weigh 108 LBS. I see my GI on Tuesday and I know he is going to yell at me about my weight. How the heck do they expect me to gain weight when I have diarrhea every day. :(

Down about 30 pounds or so since 1980, lost most of it on SCD,never could get it back.
I hover around 135 now,skinny and as my son says old man muscles.

I am told I have Chicken legs and scrawny arms. Lol. Thank goodness they don't call me old. I feel that everyday on my own. :)

In my worst flare I lost 15 lbs and got compliments even though I wasn't overweight to start. Stupid peeps.

I lost maybe 5 lbs on SCD but when I altered SCD to foods that agreed with my gut I gained it back gradually.

I weighed 135lbs last August when UC hit me . Lost 35lbs over the year.
I would pick up a lab then lose the next week . Still have diarrhea maybe once or twice a day. turn

I also gained because of pred. Hope to never take pred again. Find it very hard to take the weight off. Need to shed about 15 lbs

Lost 20lbs in less than a month at peak of flare...
Put it all back on during Prednisone course...

Now sort of trying to loose about 7-10lbs to be at the weight I feel best at.. !

None. Ever.

I'm FAT right now - dress pants don't fit!

I'm scared to change my diet because I'm kind of stable right now, so I'm concentrating on eating less of the same stuff.

None, pretty similar to Tornado.

I used to be ~150 lbs and highest been 194lbs, now 170lbs. So actually I gained 20lbs, thanks to prednisone.

I was 185 prior to fall out with crohn's colitis and now I am 168. It seems I never really got a handle on my imflammation since remission last summer which lasted 9 weeks. I am currently trying Rowasa to see if it gets to the area which is in my lower colon about 8 inches from rectum and travels up about 4 inches. I was on canasa daily but it didnt cut the mustard. I am hoping that like my doc said if the Rowasa doesn't work then he has to scope me. I am praying that the Rowasa works. Oh I am 6'1". Otherwise all my pants are really loose on me and I recently just went to my lowest knotch on my belt which mentally is hard for me to get over.

Fingers crossed on the Rowasa..

I waited 6 months from the start of symptoms before seeing a doctor. After I was diagnosed, it was another 3 months before I saw another doctor (that's another story). Overall, I lost 90 pounds... 225 to 135. My mom used to call me Auschwitz after the concentration camp. 5'5 and 34 years old.

I was kinda chubby at 208, then UC hit and I dropped down to 173. Nite after introducing Lialda and SCD diet, I'm comfortable hovering around 193. And that's the story
