Nice. I found that just chewing my food really well helps a lot. It may sound childish, but it's easy to get caught up in our rushed lives and just throw food down our throats. As far as my jam lately... I eat lots of omelettes (Eggs, Avocado, Squash, mushroom, lots of himalayan salt), lots of coconut products (oil, flour, etc), and these pancakes, that are more like bread cakes (ratio 1:1 of eggs and smashed bananas, maybe a little peanut butter, then some type of nut flour until it's thick enough for your preference). The original recipe for those pancakes was just egg and banana, but I found they fall apart too easily without flour. Topping those pancakes with honey, of course. But yeah, fruits are great. I'll often buy the fresh cut fruit bowls from my local Wegman's grocery shop. I struggle with green veggies, especially raw. So, unfortunately I don't eat as much as I probably should. Cauliflower is definitely my favorite, and agrees with me well. Larabars (coconut creme pie) are my lifeline. It's one of the only foods I eat that comes pre-made in a package, making it great for travel. To top it off, I try and eat meat/fish once a week. That agrees with me the most, but I get sick of preparing it, so it doesn't happen as frequently as my intestines would prefer. Aaaannnddd, unless I'm forgetting something, that's about all I have eaten for the past 2 years. I think of my body as a car, that requires fuel.... But has absolutely no say in what type of fuel, except that it won't work unless it's regular gasoline. So I think of eating as refueling: not some sociable, traditional, cultural, time-wastable activity. I understand that sounds weird and antisocial, but in order for me to concentrate on my life, that's the best way I've found.
