There are a couple problems I see immediately with your post. I'll detail them adequately here.
1) You'd better have a darn good reason to be on those particular class of antibiotics. We aren't talking about
your everyday cillin variety here, these are heavy duty antibiotics that other countries reserve for life-threatening infections only. You need to press your doctor and ask him why he put you on these class of drugs if there was no confirmed infection. A
study found that more than half of these antibiotic prescript
ions are unnecessary and ended up
harming the patient.
2) Ciprofloxacin has no anti-inflammatory properties that aren't found in fruits and vegetables. That's like saying people should be taking statins just because it has a slight antixiodant effect. It's ridiculous and the notion that these medicines have any benefit, unless for a pressing condition, need to be put to rest. I've seen two teachers get crippled with one pill just because doctors put them on "preventative" antibiotic treatment for infections they didn't have.
3) Cipro binds to and depletes the body of magnesium, so you should be supplementing on the double if you want to prevent aches and cramping down the road. You need to double up on the probiotics and add Saccharomyces Boulardii to prevent any C. Diff infections.
4) Studies have also demonstrated that higher rates of antibiotic resistant infections are found in populations with higher usage of fluoroquinolone antibiotics. The countries that restrict these antibiotics have better outcomes with antibiotic treatment due to lack of resistance.
The only other advice I can give you is to tread lightly on this one. It's an icky situation.
