Remicade or Surgery?

I went to the dr and said I want surgery, he said try remicade. I did, I wish I hadn't. All I did was waste some more time with uc. It worked for me for about 3 months but I was constantly waiting on it to fail, I couldn't feel secure that I was in remission. Once it failed I went back and I said "take it (my colon) out or I will". I actually think that in the mental state I was in I would have done it,lol. I chose an ileo too. I just didn't want to mess with a jpouch. At the time my son was almost 2 and I had missed enough of his life.
Don't worry about the dating. My husband doesn't care. If I met a man I thought was hot and he was nice I wouldn't care about a bag. I think I would care more if he pooped all the time,lol.
