Silenus I would recommend trying the drugs before surgery as well. I was a little scared of them but thinking about
how many side effects every drug has and how rare the really bad ones are, I think it is still worth a try. I'm getting pretty discouraged just because they haven't been helping at all. and yes I am glad I found this site as well too find other people going through similar things! I've had this for 10 years but it's never been this bad and I never really sought to connect with others who had it.
IPoop, I'm on 600 milligram dosage. The first doctor who put me on it actually scheduled me to do it every 8 weeks to start instead of the correct loading doses. I switched doctors a week or two later because I was waiting on an appointment scheduled way in advance and I'm glad I did so I could get it on the regular schedule and sooner. However when I asked about
doing it sooner than every 8 weeks once the loading doses were done they told me they would not do that. I think I am around 70 kilograms right now, 150 pounds at last weigh in so my doses a bit on the high end for 5 to 10 milligrams per kilogram. But not overly so. I was a bit worried about
that at first with it being high but they said it would be okay.
