I was going to e-mail you, but thought I was already on here. How are you doing on the WOO? Still feeling well? Just thought I would fill you in on my experiment with the AA's. I stopped them for about 3 months. Had some bad things happen about 4 weeks in. Loose stool, mucous and WAY thin stools. I knew the inflammation was coming back. So, I thought I would go back on them. After 3 days was feeling better. Then I ran out, and BAM, felt worse again. Took a while to get them re-ordered (long story) and delivered. When I got them, After 4 days, i am feeling better again. So, it looks like the AA's are working for me. I did not try to optimize my dosage....when I felt pretty good, I stopped all the urine tests. I don't need to be perfect, I just need to function and feel decent.

Anyway, thought I would share. Still have not received the WOO-stuck in Kentucky......I think they think it is drugs, but am excited to try that too!

Hi Lemmon, that's great news! I swear they effected me as well, so I think if I don't see success after stoping the WOO I will return to the AA's and see if it does the trick. Probably in combination with Humira like yourself.

As for me I'm very close to remission, but have not stopped taking WOO , so the real test will come after that as I can't stay on it forever.

And yeah... I just called and it looks like US Customs didn't like the shipment or the product. They won't let it leave. they said they will just incinerate it or ship it back but they only ship air express and that would be $100! Crazy border people.

At the moment I have no blood, no real mucus, and only once or twice per day with solid stool so I really can't beat that. Now if it will last...

And thanks for trying to send me the Woo. I guess I will have to get it imported from Greece like everyone else. Reminds me of "A few good men" when they guy was going to go to prison for smoking a dime bag or oregano.

I wonder if the combination of Humira and Amino Acid Therapy is the trick.

I did the therapy for over three months. Although there were times I felt like I was starting to get better it would only last for a few days and then my symptoms would return. Not to mention that shortly after I stopped I had a colonoscopy and my colon looked the worst it ever has. My doctor was stunned at how bad my colon was.

I’ll be having surgery after the first of the year due to dysplasia and the fact that I’m simply tired of looking for the illusive remission.

I'm really glad to hear it's working for Lemon.

I think it comes back to the "everyone's different"thing like diet. For me it totally closed my fistula, and increased my food tolerance. After stopping for a while my fistula acted back up. Now with the WOO it seems to have closed to a degree, but nothing like it was with the AA treatment.

I still wish I new of someone that had total success with it. That part drive me nuts about it cause the therapy or the idea behind it just makes so much sense for a lot of different reasons.

Wait, someone else along with Lemon I should say. Since she has found success here so far with it, which is awesome.

And I agree with brt... think it's the combo that is the trick perhaps. As this makes sense to me - but that's based on my thoughts of the bacterial cause thing. Anyway, regardless I think both Humria or Remicade and this might be a good approach to try.
