So those in a flare.....what are you planning to have for Christmas, or your holiday of choice, that won't make you feel worse?
I'm still trying to figure it out...I'm keeping okay on turkey and avocados right now, a little worried to rock the boat.
I was thinking maybe a bit of a white cheddar, or trying to find something I can dip in some homemade guacamole. Going to miss the chocolate this year.

I would stay away from cheeses.

Oh, definitely zero dairy for me. Looks like I'm missing out on eggnog
I plan on eating plain white turkey, mashed potato (nothing but potato mashed) and boiled carrots.

I have decided not to miss out on anything
In the worse flare for ages doesn't seem to matter what I eat so I'm just going to eat what I want ,at least I can enjoy it while I'm eating it rather than getting depressed watching family having fun and missing out
End result the same whatever mad dash to toilet

When I am flaring I stay away from fruits and veggies and limit my dairy. And also stay away from spicy. Everything else I seem to do ok with. I might as well eat what I love since I'm going to go regardless. Lucky for me I am in remission still.

Im spending Christmas with my Vegan brother. So the list of foods we both eat is very very short! Lol.
We're having.... spaghetti!
Sauce on the side so I can add just a little.
Dairy is A-ok for me so Im going to get some really nice parm cheese to spoil myself :D
Garlic bread (Italian bread with olive oil and seasoning)
Im making homemade corn tortilla chips (hopefully they turn out) which I hopeto dip in the vegan veg dip im making. Even tho I ccan't have the veggies! :D and everyone else will be enjoying the Ghost Chili Salsa with my chips... but not I of course, lol

Luckily I have a family who has a very healthy diet and there is sure to be plenty of healthy food. Of course gonna be some food there I will not be eating: gluten, dairy and as little processed as food as possible but I am excited for some of the home made healthy deserts which are gonna be amazing!! Just stick to as natural food as possible, lots of water, and like many people said psyillium seed is amazing for bulking up to make the bathroom trips easier. Keep your head up and be temperate, don't over eat and you should be fine!
