Dr said meds as well as just having UC makes clots more likely. Might be here several days.

:( Look on the bright side. This was caught early so it can be your Christmas present...your Christmas present is your life! But try to have a good holiday anyway. Hang in there.

Well came home Christmas night. Going to take a while to recover. Not sure how the blood thinners will effect my UC bleeding

I'm glad you are at least in the comfort of your home.

I'm glad you made it home! I was seriously worried you would be there for a few days. When I had my clots, they seriously took blood levels for five days straight trying to get the blood clotting levels right.

Welcome home! Hope no complications.
I'd assume you'll have to go for regular blood checks as ActiveUCer stated.

Good luck and hope you had a Merry Christmas. My Christmases after my divorce were pretty rough

I also have a swollen ankle for two days. It does not to walk but my calf muscle feels tight. I will give it a couple of days and if it has not gone down will go to the doctor, what do you think?

Not so good. I am stopping my blood pressure meds until I see my DR because my diastolic is very low and I am dizzy and light headed. My UC seems to be getting worse. I had only bright red light bleeding but now I am seeing some darker blood which is not a good sign. Is it because I am off of Prednisone or is it the blood thinner? I don't know. My ankle is still swollen and I get short of breath just walking across the room. Trying to keep my spirits up but it is difficult
