UC since 1972 , smoking cessation brought it back a couple of years ago....back to the gastroenterologist...now I have 2 strictures, that we know about so far...having another colonstipy this month. I have the sweating a lot, can be night or day! Makes me really weak. Any ideas?

Drenching night sweats were one of my many symptoms when flaring. Pretty much ceased when I went into remission.

This was yet another reason why I came to believe that UC may be the result from an infection, MAP or whatever. Night sweats are a symptom of other infections such as tuberculosis.
