about a week ago I started modifying my diet in accordance with SCD as I am A flare. more specifically the "ihaveUC" flare plan. More or less chicken, eggs, turkey...no carbs no sugars, etc.
I am a fit, active 46 year old male who has carried about 173 lbs on my 5'10" frame for the better part of 20 years but over the last week my weight has dropped to 165, 8 lbs lost.
I am amazed at what eliminating carbs and sugars has done in that short time period. AT he same time I'm cautious and want to make sure I should not be concerned about the rapid weight loss.
Has anyone seem similar results in making modifications to their diet?
