Oh yeah....totally forgot I had steamed beets for supper. Transit time is pretty much 16ish hours..lol.

First comes the "wht?" then the "oh right"...

Lol! My doctor told me I better not eat anything red because of that! I can't imagine eating that many beets...that must have been a panicked moment!

ive been able to keep a good record of my metabolism through adding dill or parsley to things :D

Red poo is almost as scary as neon green poo! lol Isn't it crazy how certain foods can turn our stool into crazy (and sometimes scary) colors?!

I always figured the canned ones would be more saturated with red dye, but fresh ones are waaaaay redder!!

The first time I made my hubby eat fresh beets, he was kinda quiet for several days after. He finally confided that he thought he was dying and had reworked his will after seeing his " blood". Funny now, after poop talk has dominated our lives. So glad you are ok, my heart skipped a beat at the post title. Hugs.

yeah, well...I don't post threads often, but I thought this was worth sharing,..lol.

I'll see if the morning brings equal enjoyment...but no beets for supper this time. Pickled beets certainly aren't anywhere as RED on the way out, interestingly.

I've never had neon green poo..eeks...only greeny-greyish after peanut M&Ms and wine gums. I never have just one!

Not as easy to share with the "common folk" as it is here (I have to catch my ease of comments sometimes, depending on who I'm with).

I remember when i black stool and had a panic attack! Until i realised I had blue berries the night before last. Great for identifying transit time but because i am over analytical with my poo (aren't we all lol) i have refrained from them so i can see non skewed poo! he he just reading this back makes me thinks i am insane....

Actually, I eat raw beets quite often. My transit time is like 12-14 hours, depending on, if I have had Mg-citrate dose.

lol....well, nothing to report today :-) Thanks for the well-wishes everyone!

I've never eaten raw beets...maybe the yellow ones would be a better thing than the red (dye wise in case I splash, etc).
