I also was diagnosed recently, and basically my approach has been a paleo diet, with kefir ( lactobactilli (sp?)). Find foods that irritate you, you will know pretty soon, and avoid them. Lots of hydration as the diarrhea will leave you dehydrated. I've had success eating mostly organic foods; grass fed chicken and beef. Avocados have a high level of good fats, almond milk that is unsweetened has been ok as well.
Ideally, you will want to "test" out food and give yourself a whole day time to be ready to sit in the bathroom if it a trigger food. So don't eat too much of a food, but don't eat a large variety of foods. You will want to basically approach this from a scientific process approach. Have a control, know what foods don't give you symptoms and eat them regularly to stay alive and healthy. Add small amounts of suspect foods, and if they make you sick, then you know you can't have it.
