I had my 3month check up with my doctor this morning and he said I can start coming every six months for check ups unless things take a turn for the worse. He was very pleased with my progress so far and we had a great conversation about
the human microbiome as well. He was surprised I knew anything about
it and was impressed with my knowledge. Thanks to everyone here who has shared all of this info!

Thanks, Gary.
I wouldn't say I am in remission, but I haven't seen blood in 3 months. I am not back to how I was pre-UC yet. Meds and diet have helped a lot and I think wild oregano oil was critical for me as are and resistant starches. Only 1 or 2 BM's a day but when I go twice the second is formed but very soft and fall apart when flushed. I really never had this type of bm before UC.
