I was watching that youtube video of the asacol tablets in delzicol and someone recently commented that they brought back the regular asacol 400mg. I'm assuming this is in America. Anyone heard anything on this. The asacol 400mg website is up too.

Hmmmmmmmmmmmm. Interesting. I was wondering why my new health insurance has that on it's formulary. I just figured there might still be some old bottles around or they just had an old med listed.

I just saw it on my new insurance's formulary as well. Balsalazide wasn't on the list it so I may have to switch. I hope it'll work as well.

If it's truly back, this is great news. Delzicol was iffy for me. Work the word.

Hey guys, actually I called my insurance and they said it was still discontinued but that's just mine. Man, I really hope they will start making again.

I am on Asacol 400... I didn't know this was a big deal lol I have been since May. I live in Canada though, does that mean anything as to why?

If they did bring it back, it might have been because of insurance companies such as mine that refused to cover Delzicol.
