I have a Humira coordinator and she's looked into and set up pretty much everything for me, my hubby's insurance runs out at the end of February and a new one will kick in but they only cover up to 5000.00 for me per calander year so she's setting me up for Alberta blue cross (which will cost me 118.00/month) but she also set me up to get my very first injection (4 the first time all at once) through "Progress" they will pay the 5000.00 for my first set of shots I need all at once. Safeway should be calling me this week sometime or early next week to let me know my Humira can be picked up. Progress is sending me a care package with info and ice packs and bag to carry my Humira in from pharmacy to home. They are even sending a nurse to my home to help me with the injections for as long as I need the help until I can do it myself.
Strange how the system varies depending on where you live.
