I regards to the positive effects from Nicotine and posts that have been coming up lately - I've always found this aspect (antibacterial) interesting in correlation with benefits people see.
Keep meaning to post on this to make others aware that aside from immune system/inflammation effect it may actually be working via another route... but again I'm all over the bacteria argument or bacteria side of things, haha...
Zinc ties into this to.. adding the two together. Zinc prevents certain pathogenic bacteria from being able to access manganese required to infect humans. I think there was an article on this tonight somewhere but I forget where I read it. Anyway:
